Oris Architects | Mumbai

Oris Architects is a Mumbai-based architecture and interior design practice with a growing portfolio of residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a Junior Architect / Interior Designer to join our team and work closely with the principals and project team across design, documentation, and site execution.

The Role

We are looking for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will be involved in projects from the design development stage through working drawings and site execution.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of residential and interior projects.
Prepare working drawings, detailed drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, and sections.
Develop and maintain project documentation and drawing sets.
Assist with 3D modelling and presentations where required.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Attend and coordinate site visits and monitor design execution.
Prepare site measurements, site reports, and drawing revisions.
Assist with material selections, BOQs, specifications, and vendor coordination.
Incorporate design changes and maintain proper revision control.
Assist in preparing client presentations and project documentation.
Ensure drawings and details are accurate and issued within project timelines.
Work closely with senior architects and principals to develop design ideas into executable details.
Requirements
Education: B.Arch / Diploma in Interior Design / Bachelor’s or Master’s in Interior Design or a related field.
Experience: 0–2 years preferred. Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
Knowledge of SketchUp / 3D software, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software is an advantage.
Basic understanding of construction details, materials, and site execution.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within deadlines.
